    The Child Health Program is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the children of Scotland County.

  2. Diseases

    Find information about communicable diseases, tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases, and more.

  3. Family Planning

    The Family Planning Program offers preventative health services to men and women during their child-bearing years.

  4. General Health

    The General Clinic provides adult and childhood immunizations, blood sugar checks and other screenings.

  5. Laboratory

    The Scotland County Health Department Laboratory, a facility nationally certified by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), operates under the guidelines established by the North Carolina State Laboratory of Public Health, Division of Public Health, Department of Health and Human Services.

  6. Maternal Health

    The focus of the Scotland County Health Department is to promote early and adequate prenatal care for the best possible pregnancy outcome to all pregnant women.

  7. Preventive Health

    The Adult Health Program offers preventive health, school and work exams for men and women age 18 years and older.
