Birth or Death Certificates: To obtain a birth or death certificate, please visit the Scotland County Register of Deeds office.

Scotland County Health Department is committed to making public records available in a timely manner. Public records requests are coordinated through our Public Information Officer (PIO) and are in compliance with the North Carolina public records laws (§ 132).
