Tactical Dispatch Team
The Scotland County Tactical Dispatch Team is a team of Telecommunicators that have received specialized training and are certified by the State of NC to perform communications functions in tactical situations. These telecommunicators are dedicated to their careers and ready to assist whenever they are needed.
Situations in which they may be called out to assist other public safety agencies include but are not limited to:
- Search and rescue operations
- Hazardous material events
- Confirmed commercial structure fires
Members of our team may also be asked by the State of NC to deploy to other counties or states who have experienced disastrous events and need assistance with emergency communications.
